istrauka is UK forumo:

"I think there is a marked difference between being dazzled by front or rear
fogs. At least with the rears, you can drop back. I think being blinded,
even momentarily, by the dazzle from some front lights is the worse of the
two.

The Audi Daytime Driving Lamps I refer to are the series of LED-type lights
within the headlamp itself. They seem to put beams out in a random spread,
and are incredibly intense."

istrauka is kito straipsnio komentaru:

"The worse thing is that they are quite bright, almost as bright as a dipped
main beam, but are unfocused, so in certain conditions they can dazzle
quite badly. Normal bulbs are a lot better, that or some rules need to be
introduced to control the deployment of these LED jewels."

kitas

"Seems that whever I pass one going the other way they turn them off as they
pass me - or is the rear never actually lit? Surely not as that would be
rather unsafe when driving into the sun...
As for the brightness compared to a standard 5W sidelight - these advanced
Audi designs with ~10 LEDs of ~1W each side are not saving energy, and by
dazzling oncoming drivers, might cause some accidents."
