Quick DIY on R&R for a rear bumper 1 - lay down some quilt or protective covering on the floor 2 - tools - rivet removal, wrench set or socket set mm 3 - Open trunk, open hatches on left/right rear side of trunk area to reveal your three bolts that hold the sachs/boge bumper shocks 4 - remove all six bolts (could be a bit tough to maneuver your socket set for one of the bolts, but you'll get there) 5 - At this point you could just remove the bumper straight away, but I went a bit further. 6 - Remove the trim on the bumper cover using a flat blade screwdriver (recommend you tape it up to protect the paint and you only need to pry one end of the trim with the screwdriver. Once you get it started, you should do the rest of the trim removal by hand). 7 - take a wrench and loosen the two bolts you'll find under this trim. they're large and easily noticeable. These bolts hold the sachs/boge shock to the aluminum bumper under the cover and will loosen them up for easier removal. 8 - Before you remove the bumper, there are two or three plastic rivets that should be removed from the wheel liners that attach to the bumper cover. 9 - carefully tease the bumper off the mounting holes as an entire unit. 10 - there will be about 8-12 plastic rivets holding the cover to the aluminum bumper, one row will be covered by a styrofoam block. Pull the block to make taking those rivets off easier. Once all the rivets are removed, pull cover off aluminum bumper 11 - Installation reverse of removal. You'll find that you'll use fewer rivets on the aftermarket bumper cover "Geralt" <none@none.com> wrote in message news:hui8bv$jkf$1@trimpas.omnitel.net... > http://www.bmwtips.com/tipsntricks/Bumper/Bumper.htm > > "mYnDe" <0@0.0> wrote in message news:hui7pb$imu$1@trimpas.omnitel.net... >> >> Sveiki >> >> Kvailas klausimas, bet gal kas esate nuiminejes sedanui gal. bamperi ir >> galit trumpai apsakyti kur kokie vietoje varztai slepiasi? >> Dekui. >> >>
