IT Project Manager

Midpoint systems, is a software development company specializing in real-time hardware control software.

We are looking for enthusiastic, talented and experienced Project Manager to join our team of for a new product development. Successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years industry experience in Project Management for Software Development projects.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

- proven track record of successful project implementation in a software environment;
- team management experience, comfortable matrix managing project teams of up to 10 people;
- excellent client facing skills;
- experience of the whole project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between;
- thorough knowledge of MS Project;
- ability to foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines;
- comfortable in spoken and written English

Preferable job qualifications:

- University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relavent field.

Responsibilities:

- work closely with customer management to understand the business requirement for the project, developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project;
- define the deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for the project, and manage their development and delivery;
- estimate and plan projects from start to finish, with built in contingencies;
- write and maintain a time plan for the SW project; SW release planning;
- ensure that the project is delivered within the financial requirements;
- ensure projects meet industry leading quality standards;
- manage, monitor and motivate the cross functional team assigned to the project;
- conduct project presentations and compile reports;
- participate in meetings with clients, developers and testers;
